The Black Flamingo has been a favorite of locals since its opening over a decade ago in the laid-back seaside neighborhood of Red Hook and is located on its main thoroughfare, Van Brunt St. The café was Carlo Fabricio’s third and occupies the space of a former sound studio and now houses a beautiful backyard garden. Carlo Fabricio opened the café with his two business partners and also built the establishment from scratch, which included revamping the exterior storefront.
